What’s a normal day like for you?
Normally, I am checking our hosted and backup infrastructure for any issues/updates as well as working with clients on projects, which include wireless deployment, networking solutions, equipment optimization, strategic planning, and more.
What drew you in to the technology field?
I was undecided for most of my adolescence as to what I wanted to do for a career. It was my senior year of high school and I had to make a choice. I decided to take a tour of the New England Institute of Technology’s campus and learn more about the IT field. I already worked with computers at home and had a good understanding of how hardware and software worked which is what led me to the decision to pursue a career in Information Technology.
What did you want to be when you were a kid?
I actually wanted to work construction. I loved watching the “big trucks.”
What’s your favorite / most rewarding part of working at Novus?
Working at Novus has been the single best decision in starting my career. There is nothing holding me back from doing what I want to do. The Novus team is like family, and everyone is always willing to help. My success is a direct result of this environment and I could not imagine working anywhere else.
What do you like to do in your free time?
When not working, I enjoy hanging out with friends, playing video games, mountain biking, riding dirt bikes, and working on my car.
What’s the coolest place you’ve traveled? / Your favorite place on earth?
Of all the places I have traveled, I would say the coolest place would be Toronto, Canada (no pun intended).
What’s a guilty pleasure of yours?
Playing Rocket League all night long or mountain biking until I can’t move.
What are some fun facts about yourself?
My entire home is covered with Subaru Rally Team merchandise, including a flag in my garage.
