How is this priced?
There is a one-time implementation fee and an all-inclusive annual service and support fee that includes hosting of the platform in a secure hosting site. Both fees are dependent on complexity of the survey & reporting requirements and how much administrator support is needed on an ongoing basis.
Do answers and information from last year’s survey carry over to this year?
Yes. This is something that is configurable by a survey administrator. All answers carry over and either populate this year's survey or are viewable by the respondent. The administrator determines which answers auto-populate and which are just viewable and need to be manually entered.
Can the system integrate with our association management system?
Yes, both Association of Washington Cities and Connecticut Conference of Municipalities have AMS integration with this platform. Survey users access the survey and reporting feature through each leagues's AMS.
Does the reporting tool allow for filtering of survey results?
Yes, users can filter by organization, population, tax base, geography, position, salary range, vacation hours, job descriptions, and more. Filtering can also be done by position, allowing users to filter for positions within an entire service category (e.g. “city law enforcement” which includes police officers, chiefs, detectives, dispatchers, etc.) or by specific positions. This gives users the option to choose from among only those positions that are on their municipality or county's survey.
Can the system be used as an information repository?
Yes, for example, Association of Washington Cities is using the reporting tool as a repository for copies of city and county collective bargaining agreements (CBAs) and job descriptions that survey users can view.
What type of information is collected and reported on?
Typical information collected and reported on includes city, town or county employee compensation and benefits like insurance plans, job types, and information about the specific positions at the municipality. Also included is basic profile information on cities, towns and counties, such as population, number of employees, and information on the tax base that can be used to compare across jurisdictions.
