Dan Salazar

Chief Executive Officer

 

Dan has spent time teaching elementary school, changing tires, working on submarines, and being an instructor for college networking classes. What he enjoys most, however, is learning about technology and using it to help organizations improve efficiency, encourage better outcomes, and generally make the world a better place. Other interests include cars, drums, guitars, working out at the gym, and spending time with his family.


Greg Bugbee

Chief Technology Officer

 

Greg’s focus is evaluating client’s critical data, security, and business processes towards creating greater efficiency and sustainable organizational capacity. Recently, Greg has spearheaded efforts to deploy solutions that foster data sharing and collaboration between NGOs, foundations, and government entities. Greg's other interests include cycling, kayaking, and parenting his five cats and two Chihuahuas.

Carl Fazzina

Senior Sales Manager

 

Carl has an M.A. in Mass Communication, a B.A. in Communication, and 20 years of sales, development, and management experience. In his spare time, he enjoys playing table top and role playing games with friends and family.


Derek Lemery

Director of Operations

 

Derek holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Networking from Wentworth Institute of Technology, and has 10 years of experience in infrastructure administration and consulting. As Director of Operations, Derek ensures that all organizational technical operations run smoothly and efficiently. When not working, Derek still spends a fair amount of his time on computers, spends time with family and friends, and plays with his dog, Noah.


Herbert Lierzer

Manager of Application Development

 

Herbert is a Software Developer with over a decade of experience, graduating from the University of Technology Graz, Austria with a BSc. in Computer Science. After founding his own online art platform in 2007, he focused on mobile & web non-profit solutions in 2013. He enjoys radio-plays, computers, hiking and making music.


Robert Malt

Managing Director of

Bob has a passion for client relationship management, VMware infrastructures, disaster recovery strategic planning and enterprise networking. In his previous career, Bob was a corporate pilot flying a Citation Sovereign as a captain, a licensed aircraft mechanic for TWA, and a certified flight instructor. Outside his professional career, Bob enjoys family camping trips, hiking, woodworking and boating.


John Tindall

John has 20 years experience developing, delivering and servicing successful, large-scale software and infrastructure implementations for non-profits, human resources, benefits, finance, investment and retail organizations. His various hobbies include home building from the foundation up to mountain biking, archery, zymurgy, and video gaming.

Laura specializes in dispatching work orders to NOVUS Insight technicians and verifying all technical issues are handled in a timely manner. In her spare time, she enjoys watching football and live music.

With over 11 years of experience in multimedia design, development, and marketing concepts, Matt brings a modern and energetic approach to the projects he is a part of. Matt's free time consists of activities with his son, struggling to stay fit, outings with family & friends, and dominating the online gaming community.

As Melanie’s career path meandered from Environmental Scientist to IT project management, her love of technology, efficiency, and organization has remained unwavering. She is an avid cook and loves to travel, hike, and kayak.

Systems Analyst

 

Rob specializes in large Windows Server environments, Microsoft Exchange, and VMWare virtualization. He is a father of five and enjoys spending time at amusement parks with his family, gaming, and comics on his personal time.


Brian Alff

Systems Analyst

 

Brian holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Central Connecticut State University and has spent the past 9 years working in a variety of IT positions, ranging from help desk to network engineer. His interests include gaming, hiking, mountain biking, scuba diving, and snowboarding.


Matthew Ayotte

Systems Analyst

 

Matt has an Associate’s degree in IT Security and has fun working with VMware and networking. Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his wife and family, watching baseball, enjoying the outdoors, and listening to podcasts.

Rocky Bragg

Rocky’s experience includes servers, networking and virtualization. His hobbies include working on cars, riding dirt bikes, spending time outdoors, and working on hands-on projects.





Brandon Cyr

A Connecticut native, Brandon relocated to Jacksonville, FL in 2015 to open Novus' first location outside of Connecticut. Brandon is an avid gamer, Fantasy novel reader, and part-time DJ.

Ryan Delmastro

Systems Analyst

 

Ryan works primarily with school districts, municipalities, and nonprofits. He specializes in strategic planning, budget management, and general technology/networking design. Ryan enjoys mountain biking, making music, and spending time with family.

Bob LaPlante

Systems Analyst

 

Bob works primarily with non-profit entities and municipalities specializing in backup infrastructure, email services (Exchange, O365, Google Apps), and general technology infrastructure / design. In his free time, he enjoys bodybuilding, gaming of all varieties, and playing guitar.

Glen Nelson

Technical Project Manager

 

Glen has worked most of his professional IT career in higher education at Eastern Connecticut State University, where he also received a degree in Economics. Some of his interests are in art, photography, music, and spending time with friends and family.

John’s experience includes Windows server, networking, virtualization, and storage technology. He enjoys fixing cars, riding dirt bikes, gaming, and hanging out with friends.

Greg Thebarge

Greg graduated from Porter and Chester Institute’s Computer and Networking Program where he received his A+ and Network+ certifications. He has experience with PowerSchool administration and has been working in IT for more than 10 years. In his spare time, he enjoys playing drums for a local band and building computers for friends and family.

Steve Barlow

Support Specialist

 

Steve holds degrees in IT Network Engineering and A/V Production, and has been working in the IT field for 5 years. He enjoys driving (from the quiet corner of Connecticut) and is a PC game and tech enthusiast.


Karim Bewry

Support Specialist

 

With a background in Network Administration, Karim is A+ certified. In his free time, he is heavily involved in his church and enjoys making music – both singing and playing the drums.


Josh Boisse

Support Specialist

 

Josh earned a degree from Quinebaug Valley Community College in Computer Networking, specializing in Desktop Support. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, playing video games, and spending time with family.


Marcus Champlin

Support Specialist

 

Marcus specializes in networking, storage administration, and audio/visual installations. He spent six years in the Connecticut National Guard Infantry and is currently in the US Army Reserve, focusing on military intelligence. Marcus enjoys hiking, woodworking, and playing guitar and drums.

Jean Pierre specializes in desktop support for a wide variety of clients. Outside of work, he loves going to see live music and movies weekly.

Brandon is currently pursuing a degree in Computer Information Systems. He previously worked at Microsoft as a Service Advisor specializing in desktop support. In his free time, Brandon enjoys video games, exercising, and is an avid moviegoer. He also likes to keep up to date with the latest news on consumer tech.



Justin Fales

Justin previously worked as a Client Support Analyst for Trinity Health of New England at St. Francis Hospital for almost 5 years. Justin is recently Project+ certified and enjoys reading. He primarily spends his free time recording music, playing video games, and the occasional woodworking or home improvement project.



Roger Griffin

Support Specialist

 

Roger’s IT experience includes many years of desktop support and customer service roles and he is currently pursuing his degree in network administration. Outside of work, he enjoys PC gaming, cooking, and exercising.



Kelly Halligan

Support Specialist

 

Kelly’s strong analytical, problem solving, and customer service skills make her capable of leading clients through any challenging situation they may face. Kelly kills the cooking game, enjoys music, and exercising.


Coleman Kelly

Support Specialist

 

Coleman primarily works with libraries, specializing in ILS software, patron management systems, Mac OS deployments, and VMware virtualization technologies. In his spare time, Coleman follows emerging technologies and is an avid soccer fan and follower of Manchester City.


Jordan Linton-Smith

Support Specialist

 

Jordan has previously worked as IT help for Eastern CT University, and is currently completing his degree there in Computer Science and Business Information Systems. Outside of work, Jordan likes to travel, rock climb, and read about the latest technology being produced.

Jon specializes in hardware repairs and replacements, but is always trying to broaden his knowledge of different topics. In his free time, Jon enjoys PC gaming, board games, and hiking.


Gavin McKay

Gavin is an Apple specialist and worked for Apple before joining Novus Insight. He enjoys playing hockey and making his own beef jerky.


Keith Ryan

Support Specialist

 

Keith has worked in IT support for over 10 years and is CompTIA A+ and Network + Certified. He enjoys PC gaming, hiking, boating, camping, and geocaching.

Armin Selimovic

Support Specialist

 

Armin comes from an Apple background. He worked at Apple for 5 years prior to working for Novus as a Genius. He is Mac and iOS certified through apple. In his spare time, he enjoys going to concerts, sporting events, WWE shows, and playing videogames.
